Temporary Road Closure Orders
A Temporary Road Closure Order is needed for any event which may stop the flow of traffic on a public highway within East Staffordshire.
These orders are made by East Staffordshire Borough Council following consultation with Staffordshire County Council and Staffordshire Police.
How to Apply
Your road closure application should be submitted to the Legal & Assets team at least 8 weeks before the start of the event. This will allow us time to process your application and carry out the relevant consultations. Failure to do so could result in East Staffordshire Borough Council refusing your application.
Applications can be submitted online or by sending a completed form to the Legal & Assets team.
